GoBYO.com
Who doesn’t love getting trashed for cheaper and eating good food?
I thought this was neat, you may have already heard of it. It is a webiste dedicated solely to urban byob restaurants. While you can search specifically for byob’s on other restaurant search engines, GoBYO.com seems to have a fuller database and even lists those not normally thought of as byob’s, but have a byo policy (and GoBYO will tell you what that is). I was able to find many more byob’s in my area than I had previously found using engines like Citysearch and Cityguide.
